Sharing friendship and supporting the University of Georgia’s Delta Iota chapter of the Delta Gamma Women’s Fraternity
Delta Gammas from around the country and the world settle in Northeast Georgia and around Athens, the home of the University of Georgia. We welcome alumnae of all ages to join us for Service for Sight events, dinners, football tailgates, helping the Delta Iota chapter with recruitment, and other fun activities.
We would love to hear from you, even if you think you don’t have time to participate right now. If you’re new to the area, we can help you get settled in. If you’ve been here a while and just want to join your fellow life-long DGs in friendship, fellowship and fun, please drop an e-mail to one of our officers. We promise that we don’t bite!
Better yet, please support your fraternity and your local association by sending in your local annual dues! The yellow button on the right links you to the EO site for paying national and local dues at the same time. If you’ve already paid your national dues, the purple button links to our membership form where you can pay just your local dues.
Your local dues stay right here and help us pay for things like Founders Day. helping the Delta Iota chapter, as well as group activities and mailings to reach those DGs who don’t have easy access to the Internet.
One of our long-term goals is to build up an in-and-out scholarship fund for Delta Iota collegians. We would like to be able to provide one $500 scholarship for a worthy sister each school year. We hope to build the fund and grant more scholarships each year.
Thanks for visiting, and welcome to Northeast Georgia and Athens!
Visit the national Delta Gamma Fraternity website for more information about our sisterhood. For more local activities, we sometimes team up with the Atlanta Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter.
